The AW119Kx is the first light single-engine helicopter to meet all IFR standards and offers modern avionics suite and a spacious interior to enable flexibility in role. Operators worldwide benefit from the highest productivity levels among single-engine helicopters, combined with the safety provided by redundancy of main systems, as well as payload and performance at the top of its category.
Missions & Features
The AW119Kx delivers outstanding controllability and manoeuvrability, even in ‘hot and high’ conditions. Ideally-suited for Emergency Medical Services (EMS)/rescue missions due to its performance and capacity, it retains features typical of a light twin-engine such as redundancy of all critical systems, whilst the high endurance and long range allow operators to respond quickly to incidents.
The AW119Kx features the Garmin G1000NXi VFR glass cockpit that enhances situational awareness. The Genesys Aerosystems IFR glass cockpit is available as alternative to Garmin’s avionics suite allowing pilots to operate the aircraft safely in low visibility and challenging weather conditions.
The spacious and versatile cabin has the capacity for 4 medical attendants and a single stretcher, with entire access to the patient. The modular interior can accommodate a comprehensive range of advanced life-support equipment. The helicopter features wide sliding doors, a large baggage compartment and 204 kg (405 lb) hoist for Search and Rescue (SAR) operations.
The AW119Kx offers Law Enforcement and Government Agency customers a cost-effective, highly productive platform with inherent mission flexibility. The high cruise speed assures quick operational intervention and the excellent performance characteristics allow the helicopter to safely operate in the most demanding environments.

The AW119Kx is the most spacious single-engine helicopter, accommodating up to 6 people (or one stretcher with 4 assistants) and provides a large, comfortable working space for mission operators. The multi-role cabin layout can be reconfigured with combinations of seats, mission consoles, stretchers and medical equipment. Wide doors provide exceptional accessibility and deployment.
The AW119Kx features a wide and flexible cabin to cater for all situations. High power margins enable safe operations in the most demanding environments typical of utility operations. With a variety of options for role equipment, the helicopter has an extended operating envelope and is characterised by exceptional cargo flexibility.

The largest cabin in its class accommodates up to 7 passengers and can be reconfigured for cargo operations. Equipped with a ‘Bambi bucket’ or belly tank for firefighting missions or with other specialised role equipment, the AW119Kx also offers a high external load capability.
