The twin-engine AW109 Trekker is a flexible, rugged and reliable aircraft that offers a high payload and a spacious cabin that can be reconfigured quickly, making it ideally suited to a wide range of applications.
The AW109 Trekker’s best-in-class payload and performance make it ideally suited to Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Search and Rescue (SAR) missions. Excellent Category A Class 1 performance ensures the aircraft can safely take off and land in tightly enclosed areas and respond rapidly to incidents. The spacious cabin enables efficient patient care.
The helicopter combines technology and safety with a modular state-of-the-art Genesys Aerosystems glass cockpit to minimise pilot workload and enhance situational awareness. High power margins and full crashworthiness maximise safety in all flight conditions.
The AW109 Trekker’s cabin is spacious, giving entire access to the patient. It can be reconfigured quickly to accommodate one stretcher and three/four medics, or two stretchers and two medics. Large sliding doors ensure easy access, while the wide interior also houses a full suite of advanced life-support equipment.
The AW109 Trekker helps operators to keep the public safe across a range of missions. It is ideally suited to law enforcement, border patrol, surveillance and parapublic roles and can operate day and night in the harshest environments. High levels of safety, controllability and manoeuvrability ensure mission effectiveness.
The modular integrated glass cockpit reduces pilot workload and can be configured to fit different customer requirements. With state-of-the-art Genesys Aerosystems avionics, the AW109 Trekker provides excellent situational awareness and safety in the most demanding environments.
The AW109 Trekker’s cabin is exceptionally flexible. There is space for mission consoles and/or stretchers to allow quick role changes. The aircraft’s best-in-class payload enables operations requiring tactical mission equipment such as multi-band radios, radar, Electro-Optic/Infra-Red (EO/IR) device, searchlight, loudspeakers, rescue hoist, and cargo hook.
The AW109 Trekker is the ideal solution for utility and aerial applications. The helicopter features outstanding controllability, manoeuvrability and power margins for the highest levels of safety in aerial work. The sling load capacity is retained very high even in ‘hot and high’ conditions thus maximising mission effectiveness.
The helicopter blends cutting-edge technology and safety features. It is equipped with a modular state-of-the-art Genesys Aerosystems glass cockpit to minimise pilot workload and ensure excellent situational awareness. High power margins and full crashworthiness ensure safe operations.
Utility operations demand flexible cabin space.
